Coming Up Comics gave us a 10/10 and had this to say:
You just don’t get stories like this every day. When you do, read them, and then read them again. When they’re this good, this deep, and this enjoyable, you don’t want to skip a moment of enjoying them. Issue by issue, more of the story has been given to us and these characters are more complicated than we had imagined. It’s truly a study on how there is no such thing as being completely bad or completely good, but human. We’ve become accustomed to having our heroes only do right, and our villains only do bad, that it’s a shock to the system when a narrative reminds us that the same person can do both.
As he caught her into his arms, she gave a sob that went through him like a knife. But as the minutes passed and she half lay in his arms in the shadow of the cab’s awning, he loved her so much and felt so close to her that he couldn’t believe anything could really have gone wrong.
Friends, readers and colleagues,
It is with surpassing pride and gladness that I can, at long last, show you the cover to the upcoming complete collection of this series and announce the first opportunity to pre-order an copy for your very own. The book will include every tragedy, a 22 page story written and drawn by me just for the collection along with additional illustrations and other exclusive content that will not be available online.
If you have enjoyed the series thus far and would like to support it in a tangible way, it would be a great catalyst in the longterm potential success, proliferation and acceptance of this book in this wide, wild world of ours, if you would consider pre-ordering it from one of the following retailers:
Barnes and Noble
Please tell your friends, professors, pumpkins, pets and sworn enemies about it. I thank you for all the support, kindness and for the shared sense of comedy emerging from tragedy that we apparently share. Good day to you all.
